Convergys, a leading contact centre outsourcing company, has vacancies
at their Newcastle on Tyne contact centre in the UK for experienced
business-to-business or business to consumer call centre professionals
to join the European support team. Jobs are currently available for
people fluent in one of the following languages: Swedish, Danish,
Norwegian, Finnish, French and Dutch. Your English must be good enough
to allow you to understand the training.
Convergys’ customer is the provider of a major international
charge card and your responsibility will be to monitor the usage of
card users with the objective of making outbound calls and cross selling
other products that the user may find useful. To meet the challenges
of this role you must be a confident communicator and be comfortable
dealing with senior people. Experience of working in a business-to-business
level position in a sales environment would be a strong advantage.
In addition to Sales Development Executives, Convergys also have a
requirement for team leaders experienced in supervising and motivating
sales orientated teams. In addition to your team leadership skills
you must be fluent in German or Italian.
The Convergys centre is located right in the heart of Newcastle, a
city in the North East of England, close to the coast and widely known
for it's lively social scene. The metro system provides excellent
public transport links to various residential areas.
Successful applicants will join a young multilingual team dedicated
to supporting Convergys' customer. This is a permanent role with an
attractive salary and relocation assistance for people willing to

Technical Helpdesk Analyst
This is an opportunity to work with one of Manpower's largest clients,
IBM United Kingdom Limited, in their European Helpdesk in Manchester,
England, and to experience life in one of England's most exciting
cities - the English home of football, music and shopping!
Working in a Helpdesk environment, you will be taking calls from IBM's
customers throughout Europe, resolving computer problems and liaising
with customers on the progress of their calls.
You must be fluent in two of the following languages in addition to
English: French, German, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Swedish,
Danish, Finnish or Norwegian.
You must have excellent customer care and communication skills, and
a good working knowledge of IT packages such as Microsoft and Lotus.
Helpdesk experience would be a bonus.
